Terms of Stay

Dear guests, to ensure safety and comfort of our guests during their stay, we have clarified some guidelines.

We assume that the Guests are familiarized and fully understand these policies at the beginning of their stay at Vulcan Suites.

Check in is from 2 p.m. Check out is until 12 p.m.

Guests are given the key upon registration at the check in office and are kindly obliged to keep apartments locked. Guests are required to handover their keys to the receptionist upon departure. If guests lose or do not return the key they are obligated to pay the penalty of ₦10,000.

Apartments can only be used by guests who are duly registered at the reception with a valid identity document.

From 21:00 to 07:00 hours is the time of night peace. We invite every guest to be careful during this period and not cause noise that can disturb other guests. Vulcan reserves the right to refuse further hospitality to the Guest who disturbs other Guests or in any way disrespects these terms of stay.

Kindly keep all personal belongings safe and secure. Vulcan bears no responsibility for any damage or loss of your personal belongings. In case of any loss, you are kindly requested to immediately inform the front office. We suggest you to double check personal belongings in your room before going out.

Apartments are entirely non-smoking. In case of non-compliance with this rule, Vulcan is obliged to charge the penalty of ₦100,000 according to the local Law.

Wi-Fi internet is free and available on the property. Password is provided at the front office and on your welcome document. It is prohibited to use the Wi-fi provided for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offense or other unlawful activity; and to send, use or reuse any material that does not belong to you; or is illegal, offensive (including but not limited to material that is sexually explicit content or which promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm), deceptive, misleading, abusive, indecent, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic or menacing; ethnically objectionable, disparaging or in breach of copyright, trademark, confidentiality, privacy or any other proprietary information or right; or is otherwise injurious to third parties; or relates to or promotes money laundering or gambling; or is harmful to minors in any way; or impersonates another person; or threatens the unity, integrity, security or sovereignty of Nigeria or friendly relations with foreign States; or objectionable or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatsoever; or which consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any “spam” to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety. Should it be brought to our notice that such activities are being carried out on our premises or with the Vulcan Wi-Fi, Vulcan is under obligation to inform appropriate law enforcement and to work with said organizations to prosecute offenders.

For your convenience Vulcan has arranged parking on the property . Vulcan takes no responsibility for any damage or loss of your vehicle off/outside the property.

Parties and group events are NOT ALLOWED in the apartments unless duly approved by Vulcan management.

For any damage caused by the Guest to Vulcan property, the Guest is due to cover the full cost of damage.

Guests are allowed to have 2 overnight visitors. Guests may have visitors in their apartments and they must be registered at the front office. Visits are allowed until 9p.m. and in case of extended visit (after 9 p.m.), Vulcan will charge additional amount of ₦30,000 including VAT per person per night, as a supplement for the extra guest.

Vulcan requires a guarantee for extra expenses and damages during reservation process or at the check in. This guarantee is refunded at check out after inspection of the apartment.

Pre-reservation guarantee is required. Should the guest be booking ahead, they are obligated to pay a non-refundable deposit of 1 night’s stay, refundable only if the reservation is canceled 24hrs before the informed arrival date. In case of a long stay the guarantee is to be paid on a weekly basis.

All departures after 12 p.m. will be considered as late departure and additional cost of ₦10,000 per hour will be applied to Guest’s account. If departure is after 6 p.m. an extra night will be charged. Please check for details with the Front office.

If during your stay, for whatever reason, you need to check out earlier, it is necessary to inform Front office 24h prior departure. Otherwise full night stay will be charged.

In case of cancellation of further Guest stay by Vulcan caused by misbehavior and disrespect of Vulcan Rules, We reserve the right to charge for full length of stay as per reservation.

It is not allowed to take out from the hotel the room inventory (pillows, blankets, towels).

Linen and used towels are changed every third day. Daily change comes at an extra charge. Contact the front office for assistance.

Hotel guests must have appropriate clothes and footwear when they are moving through the public spaces of the hotel. Nudity is not allowed.

It is not allowed to take explosive, weapons, inflammable materials or other dangerous chemicals in to the hotel.

If you have any suggestion on hotel service or if you have any technical problem in your room, please be free to inform us at your earliest convenience. In case of late notice for any complaints that you might have, when hotel has no chance to react, those situations will not be considered as a reason for accommodation rate discount.
